Kids in Bali

Looking for ways to keep the kids entertained during your family holiday to Bali? We’ve got six suggestions for you, all conveniently located within an approximate 30min drive from Villa Simpatico.

1. Waterbom Bali

Voted the Number 1 Water Park in all of Asia, it is easy to spend an entire day enjoying Waterbom’s rides, dining outlets, swim-up bar, and relaxing oases.

The attractions are ideal for kids of all ages; teenagers will race for the twisting, turning water slides, while younger children will adore the Lazy River, the Euro Bungy, or the relaxing Pleasure Pool. Another highlight is the Funtastic play area. Perfect for kids aged under 6, the water here will only ever come up to their knees as they enjoy the tube slides, climbing net, water jets and giant tipping water bucket.

When it’s time to dry off, you could rent a stylish Family Gazebo, where meals can be delivered straight to you. On a hot day, you can’t go past an ice cream sundae from The Shack.

2. Lollipop’s Playland

Designed for children aged 1-14 years old, Lollipop’s Playland and Café is a ‘pay for unlimited play’ indoor entertainment centre.

Parents can sit back and relax with a coffee while children play in the safe and clean play areas, which include trampolines, giant inflatable slide, flying fox, console games, racing car track, wall climbing, water park, and much more.

Make sure the kids are wearing socks (but if you forget, you can simply purchase a pair from Lollipop’s).

3. Canggu Club

One of Bali’s most popular entertainment and sporting venues, the Canggu Club has something for everyone.

The wide range of facilities include the Cubby House Kids Club and trampolines (great for young children), Strike Ten Pin Bowling and Splash Water Park (a favourite for teens), and a Sports Bar, Body Temple Spa, and much more for the parents.

Plus, you can take your pick from four amazing dining options. A highlight is Splash Poolside Bar and Dining, where you can enjoy Italian, Mexican or Asian cuisine (or even a cheeky cocktail) by the impressive Olympic size swimming pool.

4. Bounce Bali

Located within the Canggu Club, Bali’s first trampoline fun centre is filled with thrilling anti-gravity fun, and is certainly worth a mention of it own.

Any child old enough to walk is welcome to enjoy the 360 degrees of trampolines, with springs and frames safely covered by 2-inch thick pads. Older kids might also like to join in on the organised activities, including dodgeball and basketball. The elevated Bounce Bar & Café provides optimal views for parents to enjoy a drink while they watch over their children. Additionally, the menu is full of yummy choices for adults and kids alike.

Make sure your bouncers are wearing comfortable clothing, and be aware that the purchase of Bounce Bali’s grip socks is compulsory.

5. 3D Dream Museum

The 3d Dream Museum Zone is the perfect place to take family photos and create amazing memories.

This fun, interactive gallery features mind-blowing, life-size, illusionary murals that you and your children can pose and play with. They are 120 unique artworks spread over three levels, meaning you could spend an hour or most of the day discovering everything.

Be chased by dinosaurs, walk a perilous plank, or visit life-like, well-known landmarks from around the world. Photography is made easy by marks on the floor, which suggest ideal positions for photo-taking and tripod-positioning.  And if you get hungry, we definitely recommend the pineapple cake from their refreshment corner.

6. Seawalker Tour

An exciting venture for slightly older children, Seawalker Tours allow you to discover the amazing sea life on Bali’s ocean floors.

Seawalker is a soft dive system, wherein you use the unique Seawalker helmet design to walk along the bottom of the sea, breathing the same as you always do. No experience or training is required, and children as young as 10 years old can participate. And to put your mind at ease, an experienced Seawalker instructor remains with you at all times.

Don’t forget to bring an underwater camera that works beneath 8metres depth!
